About the author

Hi, I’m Shaheena — a romantic who finds beauty in the small things.

I tell stories through moments: the soft light on my desk, scribbles in a notebook, quiet cafe mornings, and the reflections we rarely share aloud. While I work in marketing operations by profession, this space is where my heart lives, a place for honesty, connection, and understanding.

This website is my creative space and, more importantly, a space I hope can become yours too. I want to build a forum where people can talk about the things they’re afraid to open up about, a place to be themselves and express their feelings without judgment. Right now, it’s just the beginning, the first stage of something I hope will grow into a supportive and open platform.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you find here a place that makes you feel seen, understood, or simply a little less alone.

About the Author – My thoughts

I think life is made up of small, almost invisible moments, the smell of something warm cooking on a quiet afternoon, an unexpected message from someone you miss, or the way light filters through the window when everything feels still. These things may not make the headlines of our days, but they’re the ones that linger. They’re the moments that quietly remind us we’re alive.

I’ve come to believe that we’re not meant to rush through life trying to have it all figured out. We’re meant to feel it, all of it. The slow days, the loud joy, the gentle ache of missing, the comfort of familiarity, and the thrill of something new. Life moves us in unexpected directions, introducing us to people who arrive just when we need them, even if we don’t know it at the time. Some stay, some leave, and some become turning points in the stories we tell ourselves later.

I’ve grown to appreciate the way time changes us. How we start to value presence over performance, connection over perfection, and meaning over noise. How we begin to notice the beauty in the in-between, the pauses, the transitions, the parts we used to overlook.

Gratitude, I’ve learned, isn’t about having more. It’s about noticing more. It’s about being able to sit with your life, exactly as it is in this moment, and still find something to be thankful for.

My take on life is simple: be kind, stay curious, love gently, and hold space for all that you are becoming. The rest will unfold the way it’s meant to.
